Why not try a more humane approach to divorce? November 30, 2012

”   It is a travesty of justice when a disgruntled parent uses a courtroom as the battleground where they use every maneuver at their disposal, whether they are legal or illegal and regardless of damage to the children. ”

An Anecdote November 26, 2012

Filed under: Children And Divorce — Family Innocence @ 10:25 pm

An acquaintance shared this :

” For those believing that small children do not understand (and are thus resilient) here is what happened last night: I put my 4 y/o daughter  to bed and kiss her goodnight when just out of the blue she says: “Dad who is your lover?” I look at her really surprised and ask her “What… do you mean?” Then she goes “I mean, who do you really love?” and then without waiting for my reply she adds “…because you can love us, you know”…

Our kids are the forgotten casualties of divorce and abandonment…after all we are ‘entitled’..to be happy and chase our dreams…and it doesn’t matter who else it hurts.
