Divorce Hits Children In Higher-Income Families The Hardest, Study Says September 19, 2014

Not sure if I buy this study…but my first comment would be that maybe to the most effected kids, divorce isn’t the ‘norm’…because : second , a higher income mother is less likely to benefit from government funded divorce incentives…third ,the wording gives me the impression that the mother got ‘primary’ custody..this is often preceded by an ugly court fight and driven by visions of the children as a source of cash and prizes…it usually is just an expensive boondoggle..a lot of resources wasted and it impacts ‘equitable distribution’
